We built Chalet Alexia as a home from home to enjoy with family and friends. Having stayed in many chalets before, the criteria was pretty clear:

  • Sofas you don't want to leave

  • Someone available to cook when you are tired.

  • No queuing for the bathroom

  • Spoilt for choice with Books, DVDs and Games.

  • Close to Geneva and walking distance from the lift

The chalet accommodates ten (twelve with small children) in luxurious comfort. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the lower floor and two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floor. In the middle floor is a wonderful double height living / dining / kitchen area with a big open stone fireplace.

The kitchen is well equipped with all mod-cons such as a Nespresso coffee machine, conventional and microwave oven, dishwasher and American fridge. There are two high chairs for the children.

 

Overlooking the living area, the mezzanine has an iMac computer, bluetooth music box, widescreen TV and Playstation. The chalet is equipped with high speed internet access and is well stocked with books, dvd's, children's dressing up clothes, toys and games providing varied entertainment for all ages.

You can choose to shop in the La Tzoumaz supermarket, the COOP at Riddes, the MIGROS hypermarkets or Lidl at Conthey. Alternatively you may wish to dine out in the local restaurants of La Tzoumaz.

 

If on an evening you don’t want to cook, Le Pistard can provide dinner delivered to your door between 6.30 and 7pm.  The menu is varied with local favourites such as cheese fondue as well as vegetarian options. There's no minimum headcount nor minimum number of days you must order but a single choice for all guests is required. For more information see the caterer's website.

 

Upon request and depending on availability we can also arrange a local chef to cook in the chalet.
